The Berlitz Method imitates the process of natural language acquisition. First you listen, then speak and only then do you learn to read and write.
What can be easier ?
Lessons are taught only in the target language! Thanks to that you start to think in the new language right from the very first lesson. And how will you know what is being said? The programs are logically presented , topics are shown in context and many examples are given. Illustrations and films are also used.
Learn to speak by speaking! You cannot learn to speak by reading or listening. You must have plenty of opportunities to speak. Berlitz uses class techniques which allow the students to speak at least for 20 minutes during a 40 minute lesson. This gives you plenty of time to practice what you have learnt.
Grammar made easy- Do you remember the boring grammatical drills in school ? Forget that. It is a thing of the past. Berlitz teaches grammar in practical situations, through context and many examples rather than rules and definitions. Grammar becomes intuitive. Isn't it easier to learn a language by using it rather than speaking ABOUT it ?
Our teachers are native speakers or have native competence of the language they teach- this guarantees that the language you learn will be current, lively and grammatically correct. You will also learn the proper accent and intonation.
Rotation of teachers is also a feature of our method. This way we make sure that you are prepared to use your new language in the real world where one is surrounded by different people, speaking in different ways, with different accents.
