The Berlitz Total Immersion® program is scientifically proven to build language fluency in a short amount of time through intensive individual instruction, nine hours a day for one to six weeks in a row. The focused study builds skills quickly for students to think and speak in a new language. Apart from regular lessons with a team of instructors the student goes out to lunch with the teacher, has a silent lesson and also the so called "double lesson". During this lesson the student works simultaneously with two instructors to experience three-way conversation. The student handles rapid-fire question and answer drills from both instructors to develop fluency and comprehension of native speakers talking at a typical pace.
The course is organized in weeklong blocks, form Monday to Friday. The student takes classes everyday from 8 am till 5 pm.
In one week it is possible to cover one level - for example, gain basic language skills when starting from the beginning.

- Proven program developed in cooperation with the Institute of Psychology of McGill University, Montreal
