Who are our instructors.?
The team at the camps is composed of sport and language instructors. Sport instuctors are experienced sport trainers chosen by our partner Szkoła Tenisa i Narciarstwa Fan i Biały Sport. Languge Instructors are our stable BerlitzKids Camp Instructors - chosen from Berlitz Language Centers. Both teams cooperate closely at the camps, share experiences to enchance best results at the camps.
Transport
Transport cost is included in price. Transport for the camps is from Warsaw mostly from the Torwar ice skating rink entrance from Czerniakowska Street. Information about transport is issued by Szkoła Tenisa i Narciarstwa 10 days before the camp. Transport for the Diabetic Camp is offered from Warsaw and Tricity (Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot)
How many students are in camp groups?
Camp groups are composed of 6 to 12 particpants. We try to keep our groups no bigger than 10 particpants. We take no more than 40 participants per camp.
Accomodation
We try to choose places that are approved by you and your childrem. Depending on the place, the rooms accomodate 2,3 or 4 particpants or 6 person camping huts. The sanitary conditions at the camps are approved by government offices.
Language instruction
The number of hours of language instruction is listed in every individual offer. Classes are held everyday. Arrival and departure days are free of classes. Classes take place in the mornning and afternoon and twice a week addtionally in the evening. However, English instructors are present at all activites during interation meetings for the whole camp which results in greater intensity of English languge interaction.
How many lessons are held per camp?
Depending on the camp we offer 2,3 or 4 lessons daily. During that time the youth has the possiblity to particpate in physical activities, listens to music, works on project and paricipates in grammar and vocabulary games. New vocabulary and context is introduced while working on the camp theme. Roleplays, situtational games and theater worshops are a permanent aspect of each camp.
Length of the camp
Our camps take 12 days. Diabetic camps due to special requirements last 14 days.
Sports program
The program is run by qualified sport trainers. Usually it is tennis, swimming, saling, windsuring, team games. We offer also Camp Olympic games, tennis tournaments. Therefore, the camps provide a good dose of sport practice and some competion to strenthen the kids' self esteem and sense of pride.

Food and special requests?
Camp participants receive 3 meals a day. The diabetic camp has extra snacks provided. In adddition all food is precisely counted appropriately to the insulin doses that the children must obtain.
We help our kids with all dietary problems at our camps.
Medical Support at the camp?
There is one medical assistant at the camp. That person takes care of medicine doses for all kids with daily medication. In case we need to contact a doctor the camp director takes the child for a professional consultation in a medical clinic or hospital. If there is the need we are in constant contact with you concerning medication or medical decisions.
The diabetic camp is supported by a medical team from Gdańsk Medical University. Nurses and doctors from the Children Diabetic Ward join us for two weeks. They are responsible for all blood sugar levels measurements and adjust meals and insuline doses daily per child accordingly.
Night care at he camp
Instructors and trainers and in case of the diabetic camp also doctors and nurses, sleep in the immediate vicinity of the kids. All kids are monitored throughout the day till the late evening to ensure they feel safe and secure.
Can a youth leave the camp on their own?
No , we do not allow that.
Can parents visit children?
Parents can always visit children if there is something imporant taking place at the camp. In other cases, we suggest visits during weekends. Please feel invited to come and join us for a day.
Can parents stay overnight at the camp ?
Yes, if they make a reservation earlier and there are vacancies at the camp. If not, parents have to take care of their own accomodation. We suggest however, not to remain with us for the whole camp. If you think your child might have emotional problems at the camp we suggest the family camp as a preparation for the future.
Can a payment be subsidized by a workplace?
Yes, and we will issue appropriate invoices.
Spending money for children?
The amount of spending money that children have always depends on the parents. We, however, suggest to give no more than 10 PLN per day. Money can be left with the children or deposited with the instuctor.
Is there a lifeguard present while childern are close to water?
Yes.
Alcohol at the camp
Alcohol at the camp is forbidden. In case of violations of this rule parents are informed and transport is arranged for the child to be sent home.
Mobile phones
Children can take moblie phones with them to the camp. Phones, however, cannot be used during classes. We do not take responsibility for lost phones. Parents are provided with all the necessary phone numbers to persons responisble for the camp and we are availiable 24 hours a day in case you need to talk to us.
